It’s not exactly a unique story. I worked for high-growth media companies in NYC & ended up with chronic back pain, insomnia & anxiety. I loved the work, but I lost myself in the process.

To keep functioning, I considered sleep aids, pain medications & even inquired about spine surgery, but a doctor suggested I try yoga & meditation first. I realize I was lucky to have that doctor.

I showed up for yoga classes that week in 2007. I can’t say that I was healed over night, but I noticed a difference.

The Jivamukti Yoga method resonated with me since it incorporated meditation & breathwork into classes. It felt comprehensive.

As my symptoms improved, my clarity, creativity & perspective at work did, too. My co-workers noticed & asked if I could teach them yoga & meditation.

In 2012, I spent a year studying at the Jivamukti Yoga School in NYC for my 800-hour certification. I took my second trip to India that year to study with masters, & then went back two more times to soak up more. In 2017, I received my Advanced Certification in the Jivamukti method.

Over the last 5 years, I’ve focused on teaching mindfulness to companies of all sizes looking to enhance employee happiness & performance.

Mindfresh has become a fusion of mindful movement, meditation & breathing techniques. I believe it’s the most powerful mindfulness formula for those who work in an office. It’s comprehensive.

Our team of highly trained teachers have guided over 1,000 mindfulness experiences coast-to-coast. In 2017, we launched Mindfresh TV to help companies & people stay fresh during long days at work.

In a world where our work and life continue to blend, Mindfresh is excited to help you pause, take a conscious breath, tune down the outer & inner noise & even improve your posture.
